Northern Transport Voices - Attitudes to Electric Vehicles and Charging Options
Back to Resource HubWhat is it?
This report explores attitudes to electric vehicles (EVs) and charging across the North using Northern Transport Voices. It builds on earlier research to show how views are changing, with a focus on charging options and what supports people to switch to EVs.
Northern Transport Voices is an online research community bringing together over 500 people from across the North who take part in surveys and discussions to share their travel experiences, needs and views.
How is it useful?
It helps combined authorities and partners understand public confidence in EVs and the barriers to uptake. Use it to shape EV strategies, plan charging infrastructure and target investment to support a practical and fair transition to zero‑emission travel.
Key findings
