Biography

Gavin is a qualified solicitor with more than 10 years’ experience. He joined Transport for the North in December 2022 as Governance, Data Protection & Contracts Lawyer and became Senior Lawyer in 2025.

He provides practical legal advice on governance, contracts and data protection, helping TfN meet its statutory responsibilities, manage risk and make effective decisions.

Gavin works closely with senior leaders and members to find straightforward solutions that support TfN’s priorities and deliver good outcomes across the North.
