Biography
Lisa has over 20 years’ experience in finance, commercial and business support. Her career spans complex organisations and fast-changing environments, with a strong focus on improving processes and delivering value.
With broad experience in financial planning, forecasting and business partnering, Lisa has managed large budgets and supported major programmes. This has helped organisations plan effectively and make the best use of their resources.
Since joining Transport for the North in its early development, Lisa has played a key role in shaping its financial systems, processes and governance. As the organisation grew into a Sub-national Transport Body, she led work across budgeting, reporting, cash and grant management, strengthening financial planning and control.
In 2025, Lisa became Financial Controller and Interim Section 151 Officer. In this role, she leads financial management across the organisation, ensuring strong governance, value for money and effective use of public funding.
Working closely with colleagues, members and partners, Lisa supports the delivery of Transport for the North’s priorities. A clear and practical approach underpins her work, helping to deliver better outcomes for the North.
