DESCRIPTION:The Scrutiny committee makes reports or recommendations to the Transport for the North Board with respect to the discharge of its functions\, on matters relating to transport to\, from or within Transport for the North’s area\, and in advance of any decisions that Transport for the North Board proposes to take. \nThe Scrutiny Committee consists of 20 Local Authority Members from across the North and has been established to review the decisions of the Transport for the North Board. \nEach of the Constituent Authorities is entitled to appoint one Member and one Substitute Member to the Scrutiny Committee. \nAll committee meetings are open to the public (including the press) except to the extent that they are excluded whether during the whole or part of the proceedings. \nThis Consultation Call on March 2\, 2023\, will be live streamed via video conferencing. Members of the public can view proceedings via this live web link: \n \nWatch meeting \nLocation: Virtual\nTime: 11.00am\nPlease note that whilst you will be able to watch public items\, you won’t be able to make comments or speak to members.
