DESCRIPTION:Transport for the North has established a General Purposes Committee to provide direction in relation to any matter other than rail franchise matters which is not reserved to the Transport for the North Board. \nThe Committee consists of one Member and one Substitute Member appointed by each of the Regional Groups as set out in paragraph 22.4 of our constitution and one Member and one Substitute Member to be appointed by the LEP Co-opted Members on the Board. \nThe Members appointed shall be a Member or Substitute Member of the Transport for the North Board. Quorum for any meeting of the Committee shall be five Members who together shall hold 50% of the weighted votes. \nAll committee meetings are open to the public (including the press) except to the extent that they are excluded whether during the whole or part of the proceedings. \nThe Transport for the North General Purposes Committee will meet at 2pm on Tuesday\, February 7\, 2022. \nThis meeting\, will be live streamed via video conferencing. Members of the public can view proceedings via this live web link: \nWatch meeting \nLocation: Virtual event online\nTime: 2pm\nPlease note that whilst you will be able to watch public items\, you won’t be able to make comments or speak to members.
