Apprenticeships at Transport for the North

A great way to start your career

At Transport for the North we are working to boost growth and job prospects in the North of England. Our ambitious proposals for infrastructure investment will do this by offering the transport connections needed to grow the Northern economy. With our new apprenticeship scheme we are personalising this ambition, by offering a skills development opportunity which will enhance the long-term job prospects of our talented recruits.

The Team at TfN is professional, skilled and diverse. We work hard across two locations in Manchester and Leeds to deliver results and develop creative solutions in our respective areas of expertise. The team is made up of colleagues with a mix of public, private and third sector experience – and as a relatively new organisation we are welcoming of all new recruits. The environment is supportive, inclusive and developmental, the workload is challenging and fast paced – but we still have fun. Teamwork and collaboration are part of our culture at TfN, everyone has the opportunity to play their part and make a difference.
